Last day

Saturday 13th August 2022

It is brutally hot here, there is nowhere to escape. But we are doing OK. We have a cold shower early afternoon, make sure we have wet hats and put wet towels around the back of our neck. So much factor 50 on that I am like a greasy pig and drinking litres of water. Its still uncomfortable but the music is good and we love hanging out in the festival field with Anne and her family and Colin and his - so we can put up with a bit of discomfort. Bands are good again today, we are actually not great fans of Fairport Convention, they have the very last set of the day and after a while Robin and I pack up and head back to the campsite. The festival was absolutely packed today, I think quite a lot of people have Saturday only tickets. Cant wait to get home now and get properly clean. The advantage of camping though is that it does get cool overnight so actually sleeping is quite comfortable.
