Lewes

Lewes is top of our list of places to move to. It is close to Brighton (15 minutes by road or train) and also will be near to wherever Charlotte and Elliott move to. It is a small town but has lots going on there with plenty of things for us to get involved in. Plus it has a lido!! We had booked to see a house today but really not sure about it - we only went because there really wasnt anything else on the market to look at. I loved it - and Robin liked it too. Its in a lovely road, near the town but very quite. And very close to the lido! We spent the rest of the day looking around Lewes - had lunch at a lovely bao bun restaurant - fantastic laksa - we will definitely go back there. We also took a look at the nature reserve that is right in the centre of town. After some time Robin started to come to terms with the fact that a) we are moving and b) we are seriously downsizing. We agreed that we would arrange a second viewing of the house. Robin couldnt go as he has to work but he said he trusted our children to make the right choice - so Chris will come with me on Tuesday. Very exciting!
