Lewes

Today we went back to Lewes to view some more houses. Although our offer has been accepted on Toronto Terrace they haven't found anywhere yet so we are keeping our options open.

The first one was lovely - a Grade 2 Georgian house with a beautiful garden - unfortunately riddled with woodworm! Too much of a project for us!

The second one was much too small - we didnt even bother looking at the garden!

The third was too close to the road - too much noise.

The fourth was lovely - great location and interesting house. But the stairs up to the second floor bedrooms were treacherous. And the garden was not much better - see picture. Not a house for retirement! (unfortunately).

Overall we discovered that the house we have offered on is the best one in Lewes - which is actually good!
