Lifeboat

I get regular updates from Neil at the Whitby Lifeboat museum as to how they are doing restoring the boat. Its going really well - nearly finished! Today I received this from Neil - it is a wonderful calendar - with July as the Mary Ann Hepworth out on the sea! It really made me smile. It was very windy and rainy all day so the South Downs Volunteer session was cancelled - which is a shame. In the evening we wen to the Lewes Garden Society talk by Juliet Sargeant - a local garden design who shows at Chelsea. It was really interesting as she took us through how she put together the show garden for Chelsea last year and then transported it to its final location. Their next open talk is in February and it is Robin's friend Ian on hedges - we will go along to support him!
