Litter picking

Friday 7th February 2025

8am - exercise class - I have mostly been very lucky with the weather - but today it hailed on us twice!! It was still good though! Then off to volunteer at the Railwayland with their WIN walk. Not many people today because of the weather but we did a litter pick on the way round which was very satisfying! We also found snowdrops in flower which I wasn't expecting there - a lovely sight - they don't look like native snowdrops so we think someone has planted them.

As soon as I got back it was off to the Mens Shed to finish the other chairs. Practice makes perfect - they are all Ok but two of them are really good and two not so good - you probably wouldnt notice but it did annoy me! If I ever have to do it again I have learnt a few things!!

We took them straight to Chris and Ellas as we needed them out of the Mens Shed - they look really good in their flat! Went out to The Cow for a quick drink with them as well which was lovely. We are so very lucky to live so close to our children and grandchildren and see them so often. It really is the most amazing time for us.
