London!!

Off to London today to go to the decorative fair in Battersea Park and then over to Battersea Power Station. The fair was better than we expected, lots of interesting things there, mainly ideas for the house nothing that we would actually buy!! We did go around say 'thats very expensive' a lot!! Then we walked over to Battersea Power Station. Its the first time that I have been and I was really impressed. They have done a great job with the building, keeping parts of the industrial bits on view. But as Robin said you can tell it was built by Malaysians - it had the feel of many shopping centres in KL! We went to the Control Room B cocktail bar, they have preserved a lot of the instruments and built a bar within the control room - it was amazing! They do an escape room experience which we have to do! Then off to Brindisa for some tapas. A lovely day - helped of course by the fact that the sun was out and it felt like a summer day.
