Off to London to go to the V&A and see the Chanel exhibition. I had miscalculated though - it is half term and South Kensington is absolutely packed! And even though I am a member we still had to queue 10 minutes to get into the exhibition. It is very good - a really good history of Chanel - did you know that she stopped work for about 14 years and then started again in her 70s which was when she created the eponymous suit - amazing! They did also cover her friendship with the Nazis during the war. We then went to look at the newly opened photography galleries. I wasnt that impressed (preferred the ones we had seen last night, but I did love this photo of the newly opened York station! It was a lovely day so we wondered down the road. unsure where to eat when we came across Bibendum (in the old Michelin building) and they had spaces - I have always wanted to eat here so we did! Then a walk through the park back to the station. Wwhat a lovely day, but next time not during school holidays!
