Lovely Sunday!

The weather is getting back to a normal September, its definitely going to rain later! So we went for a walk up onto the Downs round Malling Nature Reserve and back into Lewes, about 2 miles altogether. It was our first time doing this walk and it was lovely - quite a long way up! But great views when you get there. On the way back through Lewes we met these very cheerful guys with their traction engine - holding up all the traffic! Then back for a coffee and cake - I had this freshly cooked lemon meringue pie at the Cafe du Jardin round the corner from us - it was delicious, we must go there more often!! It was a lovely weekend with L&D and we arranged to go and see them in Wokingham in December.
