Lowther Castle

Andrew is off on a training course today so we went to Lowther Castle. Its a great place - in order to save it the previous owner took the roof off and used the place as a farmyard! The gardens are in the middle of being restored and are starting to look great - we will come back again next year to see how they are doing! Robin cooked a lovely dinner for Andrew (roast lamb!) and we had a great evening.
