We went over to Nailsworth today to prepare a site for a dry stone walling course that starts on Thursday. It looked like the stone had been delivered months ago so we strimmed and cleared the weeds and nettles. Its a site on a small road with not much traffic and the wall is hardly there any more. Interestingly two passers by stopped for a chat and were very keen that we got on with it and built the wall more quickly. Great that local neighbours are keen to have the traditional wall back.
We also found a slow worm which we needed to move to a safer place - great opportunity for me to use my animal handling skills - never thought I would use them that quickly!
We stopped off at the BP garage bp - Google Maps where they have a milkshake machine. I have never seen one before and it was amazing - we definitely need them in more places!!
I spent the afternoon catching up on some work (feedback form for the rural skills courses) and researching bush craft courses for the Cloud9 glamping proposal. And the sun has come out again - hurrah!
