The weather was great today so I walked over to the university and was reminded again how beautiful it is here in Cirencester.

I spent the morning in the lab identifying insects again. I have to say that I am getting quite good at it - I very rarely need to look up the book anymore. You can see in the picture what I am doing. Putting the insects under the microscope and then placing them in the appropriate dish to count up when I have sorted the whole tube. I can obviously say that there is less diversity in the arable field than in the others - apart from that it is difficult to say. I have thousands more to do, hopefully I shall be finished in about 4 weeks! Then I can move on to the actual work on the dissertation!

Finally made my presentation on the sycamore - I see them everywhere now! Don't ever plant one is still my advice!
