More newts

Back to Dunsfold and there as nothing in the bottle traps. In the evening I went to a different site, an old abandoned hotel that is being redeveloped. It was lovely, with some ponds that do have Great Crested Newts in. We set the bottle traps and in one of the ponds we could see newts with the torch which was great! We also found this very friendly frog who stayed still enough for Mika to get some great photos of him! A much more successful day - hoping for some good catches in the traps tomorrow!
