Wednesday 7th June 2023

We walked over to Blists Hill Victorian Town this morning. It is an amazing place and we had a talk to lots of the volunteers there. Then we walked down to the Coalport China Museum, and on to the Jackfield Tile museum. They are all worth a visit, it’s hard for us to believe now how important this area was for the Industrial Revolution. It must have been THE place to be. The Quakers were also a very important part of the success of the region. Fascinating history, but now we are tired and stop in the pub for a lively dinner before going back to the tent.
