Najerra

Tuesday 31st May Day 10

I had imagined that by day 10 my body would have got used to the walking. That didn’t happen, my blister isn’t healing as it is on the ball of my foot so today we decided to take a taxi to Najerra and rest. A very kind lady in the cafe helped us get a taxi and 20 mins later we were there.

We sat down by the river for hours and people came and went. First Kyle and the French lady whose name we don’t know. We won’t see them again as they were pushing on so we said our goodbyes. Then Deirdre and her mum from Ireland, they were resting today as well so we chatted for ages.

Checked in at the hostel where we had a bedroom, they were full so we were lucky to have booked a few days ago. A long rest reading a book then off to find dinner.

My foot still hurts so I had a small cry as it’s so frustrating. We decide to take the bus tomorrow and if my foot still hurts we will go to the pharmacy. Over to the bus stop to check times. We can tell there is a bus but it’s impossible to tell what the schedule is. Never mind we will just turn up and see.
