Nearly bonfire night!

Its the day before bonfire and Lewes is really getting in the spirit. Places are starting to board up along the routes - some shops take a risk but most seem to be doing it. The signs are up in Cliffe - No Popery! and the societies archbishops were out and about - have breakfast and posing for photos! Unfortunately it looks like the weather is going to be terrible tomorrow! We took the bus over to Brighton to see Tom, Laura and the girls (we have to leave the car parked as there are so many restrictions in place for bonfire day that we cant afford to lose our space!). Freya is not very happy - she has a bad cold and some teeth coming through. Libby is a joy but refuses to wear a coat, though I carried it for her all afternoon! The in the evening we went to badge night at the Dorset - you cant get into the firesite without a members badge - people come along to pay their membership fees and get a badge. It was packed and the were firecrackers, rookies and so much noise - i was a great night and I can highly recomend it for getting into the spirit of bonfire!
