New windows!

Big news for today - the new double glazed windows were fitted at the back of the house! They look great, we are so pleased with them. They need finishing off but glad that they are in. The room that Chris is in now doesn't have any shutters so I had to go back out and buy the stick on blackout curtains again - I hate them so much - new blinds are top of the list! In the afternoon we all went over to Tom and Lauras house as they had a new parents meeting at the school that Libby will go to in September. The school has lots of good things organised for the children over the next few weeks to get them used to school before the end of this term - but how parents manage to do this if they are both working full time I don't know! Luckily Tom and Laura can manage it between them so its all OK! Libby was a bit tearful when they left the house but within 30 seconds she was out in the garden with Uncle Chris laughing and running around playing games!! They had a wonderful time.
