New Zealand here we come! And Charlottes birthday!

Happy birthday Charlotte! So many January birthdays!! Tuesday and Wednesday I went to work. They are a lovely team, I am going to enjoy this job! We were all packed this morning and spent the last hour cleaning the house ready for the cat sitters, so much to think about!! Then we set off on our 2 day journey to Nelson! First the train to Heathrow, which is very easy now the Elizabeth line is working. We got to the airport over 3 hours before the flight which is just as well because I didn’t realise we needed an ESTA to transfer through the US. Absolute panic! We applied online which took ages as there are so many questions. Then we had to see if we got the approval in time. A very tense half an hour then the approval came through, we were good to go!! We flew United business class to Los Angeles, which was pretty good!
