Newhaven

Today was a work day - there was a SwapShareRepair event at the Hillcrest centre in Newhaven and we had a stand there. I got there early to set up, it was a lovely event. They had a massive repair cafe going on - one person was having the sock stays for his kilt outfit mended! There was also music - this is the seven stars - my heart did sink when they went on stage but they are amazing!! everyone stopped to watch their performance!

In between all of this I bought a headboard - long story but I have been looking for a double ercol headboard for ages and had given up as they dont come on the market very often. I happened to take a look on ebay this morning and there was one for sale at a reasonable price in Lewes - what are the chances!! So I bought it this morning and we picked it up this afternoon - I am very happy!! A bit of sorting out needed upstairs to fix it but you shoudl get a picture later this week!!
