Newhaven to Seaford

In the end we called Chris on Whatsapp rather than going over to Toms. They have had what is probably Norovirus during the week and Tom has only just got better so we decided to stay out tof hte way! As it turned out that was a good idea because theri boiler also stopped working this morning as well! We had a lvoely call with Chris and Ella - really great to see them in their van and having a wonderful time! Charlotte left later in the morning and as it was such a lovely day we decided to take the train to Newhaven and then walk along the beach to Seaford where we got the train back. It was a great walk - actually much shorter than I expected - once we had got past the trading estates of Newhaven! They have very fancy beach huts in Seaford - I have looked them up before but they are for residents only which I think is fair. We struggled to find a good pub to go to so wen to the station which it turns out has an amazing cafe and bar - so worked out well in the end! We went out later to see some live music at the Volunteer and the view from Cliffe Bridge was lovely as usual! The band not so much!!
