Results for our group work - a national vegetation survey and management plan for a part of the Bathurst estate. Good team work I think! Great mark.

This morning Ros and I went over to Wigwell Nature Reserve which is managed by About Us | Wychwood Forest Trust. The reserve is in Charlbury and is a great place for local dogwalkers. One of the Evenlode tributaries runs through it and is very overgrown with little wildlife. They are planning on putting in Beaver-dam analogs - what is that you ask? Effectively man made beaver type dams - I learnt something new as well! They have had a full wildlife survey done of the stream as a base line and then will monitor it over the next few years. Sounds really interesting - we said we would help out next year in creating the first dams!
