Saturday 29th March 2025

Packed up and left the house for Phoebe and Raf. We dropped our bags at the hotel and then went over to the Japan House to take a look at their woodworking exhibition. On the way we came across the Churchill Arms, it’s a very famous pub as it is covered in flowers during the summer, and looks pretty good now! We popped in at 1140 and it was already packed!! Obviously on the tourist trail! The exhibition was really good, the joints they make in wood for the temples are outstanding!!

We walked to Queensway which used to be full of Chinese restaurants, not so much now but we did find this one and had dimsum. They had my favourite, turnip cake, and even Robin thought it was good!

We decided to walk back by way of the canal as it was a lovely day. So did the rest of London and all the tourists by the feel of it. Camden Town was packed! Probably best avoided now as it is so touristy.

Walking back later we saw this casually locked to the railings!!!! It looks brand new, just sorry that we didn’t see it being ridden. Off to bed early as the clocks change and we have a train to catch tomorrow!!
