Up early this morning to catch the lovely light down by the sea next to the cottage - it is beautiful here. Then off on the bus again - this time to Osborne House. This is Queen Victoria's house and is beautifully kept. The gardens are amazing and the house itself it very Victorian! It is well worth a visit and a walk down the hill to the private beach - it was so hot that some people were swimming there! Afterwards we took a walk down to East Cowes - dont bother! there is absolutely nothing worth mentioning there (apart from a bus back to Ryde!). If we had more time we would have taken the ferry over to Cowes which would have been cool. But it was too hot so we went home!
