Over to mum's

Chris and Ella are back on their travels in the van now. They have booked their flights back home, landing on 5th April - which is very exciting!! Last night I was very fed up so I emailed the podiatrist and asked if she had any emergency appointments. She came back to me this morning (very good as its Sunday morning) with an appointment t 8am Tuesday morning. She is really good so I know she will sort it out.

Today we drove over to Mum and Dorothy's house. We havent seen them since before the holiday so it was great to see them again. Dorothy seems much better, she still isnt able to walk much of a distance but she is still much better. They are planning a painting holiday in France for later in the year - it sounds lovely. Dorothy will paint and Mum will potter around and take photos - bliss!!

Afterwards we dropped into a garden centre in Bracknell - Robin wants a Kamado Joe Jr BBQ for the new garden and this garden centre has them on display. It was good to see them and confirmed to us that we didnt want one of the bigger ones - they are enormous!!

I forgot to say - I applied for my passport on Friday when I got back from New Zealand and had the new one in my hand last Friday - just one week - that is amazingly efficient!! So we are off to Blois with the Lewes Twinning society in mid March!!
