Peurto la Reina and a blister

I have a blister forming on the ball of my left foot. I have done everything I can but these things happen. It’s going to be a hard day! It was 24km today to Puente la Reina, a bit of a slog through the street of Pamplona to get out of town then up, up, up! Mostly through arable crops so we collected evidence for later!! We stopped at Zariquiegui for a coffee and to take a look at this lovely church, a very calm place that smelled of incense. Then up up again to the top at Alto del Perdon with the pilgrim sculptures. Down was much worse, a stony track, steep down hill for ages! Eventually we found our way to Uterga and an amazing bar where we had a well deserved rest. Then a long slog onto puente la Reina. The hostel is amazing and as usual we had a shower then search for washing facilities!

We are not moving from the hostel today, my foot hurts! Compeed is on and I hope for a better day tomorrow!
