Planning permissions!

We got our planning permission approved!! So now we can have a new door and path - not sure how long it will take to get them done but we have three years so should be OK! As you know we are having a garden designer look at the garden and one of the things we are considering is putting a veranda on the back of the house - we think it will extend the time we can spend in the garden. But before we start looking I thought I would check on planning permission for that. I got a pretty quick reply that it was not needed - it wont be seen from any public right of way, so all OK! This afternoon we went into Brighton as we were seeing the Jive Aces on the pier in the evening. Brighton pier is famous for its starling murmurations - we didn't see them today but we did find this rather oversized starling on the pier!! The Jive Aces were good but I have to say a bit samey - I didnt really need to be there for the second half - but Robin enjoyed it! Lots of people who obviously go tot he same dance classes busy practicing! And here is number 16 advent window - rather lovely one today!
