Pressed flowers

My right eye has seemed a bit different for the last few weeks so today I went for an eye test. The result - I am getting older! Both eyes are better at long distance but worse at short distance - I noticed it in my right eye because my left is already really bad!! A new pai of glassses was ordered which set me back £600 (can't do that too often). Then off to Cirencester for a week at university. When I got to the house I had another look for the flowers that I pressed months ago in the small flower press that I got for Christmas. At last I found them and here they are - they actually look better in real life I am really pleased with them. So, I picked another couple of flowers from the garden to press. Hopefully I can find them more easily in a few months! I didnt go to my sketchbook class as I still dont feel well - and dont want to infect everyone in the class!!
