Railwayland again!

It was tipping down with rain today but I still went over to the Railwayland to volunteer for the WIN walk. It got a bit better but the rain had put people off, it was just me, Helen (the walk leader) and Peter. We had a lovely 90 minutes walking around - we took a look at the fallen tree again - and I put in to practice everything I had learnt from the walk training the day before! It was really really muddy but we made it with out falling over.

In the evening the Railwayland was on Monty Dons British Garden program. It was about using the dogs with saddle bags to distribute seeds. I had been in exactly the area they showed on the program - and I can tell you it was a boggy mess with nothing (at all!) growing - style over substance I think in this case!

We also got some see compost and I planted up the tree peony seeds that I got - not really convinced about them but we will see in a few weeks!
