A pilgrims work is never done so we had a great breakfast at the hotel, walked past the cathedral while it was still quiet snd went to find a launderette! Last wash of the trip.

while we waited we went down to the local food market. They were just setting up and all the food looked amazing. I wish we could have bought some O Cebreiro cheese to take home. We are going to see if we can find a substitute when we get back.

We went to the pilgrim museum which was very interesting with all the exhibits explained in English. It was also free! good information about pilgrimages in general and also the Camino. Then we went back into the cathedral to take a better look. This is one of the chapels you can see all the pilgrim motifs in the decoration.

We went back to the market for lunch, not many photos as we ate it all and it was delicious.

Later while walking to the park we came across this fantastic musician. We had to stop and listen for a while. she played so well and with such passion.

At the park we went into the church at the top of the hill and met the local evangelical priest. We had a good chat with him, he came to Santiago to retire a few years ago but was asked to lead the church here. He seems to be really enjoying it. There were lots of statues in the park, great street art again!

It is also pride month so we noticed quite a few flags and colorful street crossings, also this bed of flowers.

Later we saw a march through Santiago, loud snd hood natured!

We also got a picture of me outside the cathedral. Robin managed to cut out the cathedral in yesterdays picture!!
