I got up early to see the sunrise over Seaview - it was beautiful, well worth the early start! Then we headed into Seaview to walk part of the Coastal Path to Sandown - it is about 10 miles. It was low tide so we did walk quite a lot of it on the beach - there were some rather interesting bits of the walks through woods - what I can say is the path is not used much! We stopped at the Best Dressed Crab for a crab sandwich - but horrors - no crab today - apparently the high tide is too dangerous at the moment! We made do with a prawn sandwich instead - its a lovely place to eat and we can highly recommend it. Then round the coats to Bembridge and the lifeboat station and over the cliffs eventually down to Sandown. It was very hot but we came prepared so it was very enjoyable. Not much in Sandown though - unless you are interested in a dinosaur museum and a small zoo! We caught the train back to Ryde and walked back to Seaview to complete the whole leg of the walk. About 31,000 steps and amazing views!
