Sketch book

Tonight I went to the second sketch book class. Most of the others seem to have been doing more painting than I have and I felt a bit concerned when we started. But I really enjoyed it and my paintings turned out better than I thought they would. The theme this week was nature and the tutor brought in lots of leaves and a few flowers for us to have a go at. Her point was that it can be easier to start with an individual leaf rather than a tree and she was right. It did give me more confidence and now looking forward to next week!
