Source of the Thames

We walked to the source of the Thames today - actually not much to see but a stone - this was a much more interesting tree in the field - a bit surreal.

We filled up the bird feeders this morning and the birds started to come back - robin, blue tit, great tit and magpie. But Robin says that the bird feeders are weedy! So we went out to the garden centre and bought some more. We filled those up and put the original ones further down the hedge - and then sat looking out the window for ages. Honestly I have turned into that old lady that feeds the birds! Robin says he now understands why so many people spend a fortune on bird food . And I agree - its such a joy to watch them.

We walked through Cirencester Park and had dinner out in The Bear - great food there I can highly recommend it. It was really nice for Robin to see the cottage and what goes on in Cirencester - it is a lovely place.
