South Hill Park

After my post on Linkedin on Thursday I was overwhelmed by how many people took a look at it and sent me messages. It was so lovely to be reminded of the many amazing people that I have worked with over the years. While I have put that work behind me I hope to keep in touch with everyone in the future.

Today we went over to South Hill Park What's On - South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell to pick up Mum from her printmaking course. It is a wonderful art centre where they run really interesting courses, put on shows and have a cinema. It has struggled over the last year due to loss of funding. There are so many places like this that need our support over the next few months to ensure they survive.

There is also a lovely park surrounding the house, we always go for a walk around while we are there. We found some interesting wooden sculptures and this seat burned out of an old trunk. Bracknell council are really doing a great job in looking after the park.

They also have a magnolia grandiflora in flower at the moment - the flowers are the size of plates! We have a tree in our garden but it has not yet flowered like this! I am hopeful that one day it will!
