Like most people this weekend we got out into the garden! I cleaned the small greenhouse that we have - ready for seeds very soon. I actually have a propagator which is doing well at the moment. I planted Ricin seeds last week and they have already turned into monsters that I had to plant up today! The chilli seeds are growing and I think (hope?) that one of the cactus seeds might be alive! We also went to the garden centre (together with everyone else!) to get bark and mulch to put on the garden - managed to do 9 bags so far! many more to go and will try and get them done this week. I also waged war on the bamboo - not sure who won - my hands are ripped to shreds! More bamboo to dig up over the next few weeks. The photos are the flowers that are out in the garden at the moment - I cant recommend the Edgeworthia chrysantha (top photo on the left) enough - it smells amazing, the flowers last for ages - they came out a few weeks ago and will probably last for another month and then the rest of the year it still looks good.
