Swimming today!

I haven't been swimming for a few weeks as it has rained so much!! Today I took a risk and booked a swim. It was great, 13 degrees C , it was warm enough for me to go round the course 3 times - 1.2km altogether.

I was really close to a great crested grebe - he was so beautiful and didn't seem to care that I was there. Plus 3 ducks that almost landed on my head, some coots and a red kite being mobbed. I couldn't tell what was doing the mobbing as I didn't have my glasses on - it does make it more difficult to identify the wildlife!!

Now ready to go swimming in the Isle of Wight next week - I have a plan to go every day - I will let you know how that goes!
