Tarta de Santiago

Today was a day to clear out more of the house. We have been told that we might be moving out of Wokingham by the end of November. Thats not that far away and so much still to do!

We did 2 trips to the tip and got rid of a lot of concrete and plaster that the previous owner had left behind (should have done it years ago!). We found homes for quite a few things - mostly empty plastic boxes - luckily Colin can use them at his school.

In the spirit of using up things we have, I also made a Tarta de Santiago - I had bought the ground almonds a few months ago but never got round to making it. It worked well and was delicious - and gluten free! It's supposed to have an icing sugar St James cross on the top, but I didn't have any icing sugar and buying some would have defeated the aim of using things up!!

And I dont feel very well, sore arm, temperature, generally under the weather - adverse effect of the jab I suspect.
