The gate

Robin has spent the last few days putting in a side gate to the cottage. Our neighbours have a dog and we need to make sure he doesn't get in the garden - the last time he did that he dug up the pond! The gate looks really good. I am trying to make sure that Robin does all the jobs on the house that need doing before he goes down to Lewes. No luck on the exchange today - our vendors are now ready but somewhere else in the chain the solicitor hasn't received he signed contract yet - why they ever thought we were going to exchange this week I dont know! So now we are not sure when it is going to happen, we had a completion date of 1st February which would have been great but lets see!! Chris and Ella are up for the weekend - their first time staying with us in Cirencester they are leaving Brighton after Chris finishes work and should get here about 930.
