The Moult

Today we drove to Salcombe. The Moult at Salcombe was our destination for Charlotte and Elliott's wedding weekend party. A bit of a hairy drive there - only very small roads go to Salcombe! But when we got there it was worthwhile - what an amazing place and the sun was out! A crowd of about 27 people - close family and friends made it there. We had hog roast for dinner and lit an enormous fire in the firepit. Lovely to meet Elliott's family and friends - we all had a great time.

The house and gardens are quite astonishing - do take a look at the site - difficult to know where to start with its fabulousness!

It was very Mediterranean and reminded Charlotte and I of a holiday we had with granny in Madeira a few years ago. That was lovely as well!
