The tide is high!

I went to Saltdean lido today to go swimming - this time I took my gloves and shoes! When I got there I seriously thought about just going home - it was so cold!! But I braved it and stayed in 25 minutes - it was absolutely lovely!! All this week they have been working on the bay windows - he finished on Thursday - it was freezing - the first thing he did every morning was take all the windows out!! But we can tell the difference now - there are definitely less draughts and the rooms are warmer - now it just needs painting! We also had the garden surveyed today - getting closer to actually having a plan!! This is the view of the river at high tide today, this house had a lovely long garden (just as well!) and in summer a great place to sit and view the river - not so much now!!
