At 8am I wen to the podiatrist. I have to say that I was very anxious. While I knew that she could fix it, I was very worried about how painful it would be for her to do it. But she is very good at her job, and while I had to concentrate on my breathing and chat inanely it wasnt that bad. And afterwards it was much better!! Gym at the end of the week but no swimming (dont wan to get infections!) until next week. Phew I feel so much better!!
I am really interested in swapping our car for a small camper van. But this is not something to rush into - there are lots of choices and configurations!! So I have booked an NV200 (microcamper it is called) for 5 days in April. It should be enough time to see whether we really like it and understand the configuration a bit better. The real question is the size of the bed - will we both fit in - or should I leave Robin at home with the cats!!
At work we have a launch event in May for the project that I am working on. It will be in the Town Hall - which as you can see is very big and a bit soulless. I went in today to take a look at what we could do - we thought we might be able to put banners in to lower the roof a bit and fill the space. But it is much too high - we couldn't get up to hang anything!! So we will have a rethink!
In the evening we went to the Depot to watch Hamlet - Ian McKellan as Hamlet, put in in Windsor theatre, without an audience. They used the whole theatre building as the set. It worked really well, the only thing was that while Ian McKellan is a great actor, he is much too old to play Hamlet and it was a bit weird in places! The Depot was absolutely packed, they had three films starting at the same time and Tuesday is their cheap' day. Good for them (they are a local independent cinema)!
