The Van!!

Not much to report so far this week, Freya was lovely on Monday, work was really busy Tuesday and Wednesday> Now its Thursday and so much going on!! Firstly I had to do a work meeting at the Town Hall at 10am, which was really useful. Then packed the car for the van trip and drove to East Sussex College for my first watercolour lesson at 12pm. The class was really good, just what I wanted. Although a few people had done her class before she started with the basics and was quite prescriptive about what she wanted us to try - really enjoyed it! The Robin met me at the college and we drive to Horsham to pick up the campervan. After a short handover (they are really good and have loads of video tutorials online which you have to watch before they give you the van), we were off! It feels really big (a bit vanlike not surprisingly) but drives really well. We spent our first night in West Wittering - Scotts Farm campsite where we always go, so that we could get a feel for it. As you can see Robin got straight on with cooking dinner! Actually it is heating up - it is a one hob induction so options are a bit limited, but it worked well for us. We tried out everything - apart from putting up the roof - it is cold at night and we wanted to stay as warm as possible! Not many people at the site ( we were one of about 4 vans), which is a message about camping in April!!
