Toad in the hole!

Over the years we have tried to make toad in the hole without much success. Today Robin made the latest attempt. And it was the best so far - slightly soggy in the middle but mostly lovely and crispy. He added an extra egg and let the batter rest. Good attempt!!

I went round to Jane's house for craft evening and continued with my embroidery. I had hoped to complete it by Easter but at the moment summer is looking much more realistic - I think I need to do it in my spare time and not just at the craft evenings!!
