7am swim at Pells pool today. It was a beautiful day for it and not too many people (I think there are a lot of people still on holiday). I love seeing the river in Lewes - its always different because it is so tidal - and the chalk downs in the background - perfect! Then we drove over to Haywards Heath to pick up the stuff for Robins CT scan. His appointment is 22nd August. For two days before hand he basically eats laxatives and iodine - not much real food. Apparently the nurse said it wasnt going to be pleasant! On the way back we stopped at a garden centre and saw this biscuit - perfect for Libby so we bought it!
In the evening I was over to the Law School in Guildford for a bat survey. Just this small building but what you cant see is that the camera (and my chair) are on a very grassy steep slope going down to a building on the right hand side. I executed a slow motion fall from the chair down the slope and landed on my face - luckily very slowly - even I laughed!! I later found out that my partner Natalie over hte other side of the building had done the same, but she also broke the tripod! And not many bats - but a pipistrelle kept me company for 15 minutes, which was lovely.
