Up the mountains!

Great sleep last night in our last private bedroom for a while. We set off from the hostel up the mountain, with lots of other pilgrims. Joe who ran the hostel seemed to think we needed a stick, bit worried now but it’s too late so we will manage. We only had 8 km to do today but we set off at 715 as there is a heatwave here and we wanted to get there by 10. It was hard, very steep and warm, sweat everywhere. But we seemed in a better state than others who we doing 27km today, not sure how they will make it.

Got to the hostel and it is amazing, wonderful views, lovely dormitory and a shower! Then washing and drying as much as we can as it is going to rain tomorrow.

I booked up hostels in Zubiri and Pamplona so we have a bed for the next few night!!
