Veg plot

We went back over to Tom's this afternoon to help him continue with the vegetable plot. This time we were levelling the ground around the raised beds and putting in gravel guards. Also taking out gooseberry bushes, removing a box hedge (that had been killed off by the caterpillars and doing a lot of weeding! It was hard work but didnt seem as bad as doing the raised beds - helped by the lovely sunshine!! Overall it was very satisfying seeing what we had done. Tom now has one bed that he can use and it shouldnt be too long until it is all completed!
