Walk 1

Saturday 15th February 2025

We need to keep practising for our walk so today we did a section of the Meridien walk - which goes through Lewes - that is Robin stood by the line! It was about 21km and was a mixture of road, field and woods - most of it very wet as you can see - we were pretty muddy by the time we finished! Not many hills so it wasnt too bad and we made it to North Chailey. The idea was to get the bus back but they re very infrequent so we had to wait an hour. Unfortunately although the bus stop is named after the pub it closed down many years ago by the look of it. Made it home eventually!
