Walk on

What a beautiful day! Our Camino walk is less than 5 months away now so we have decided we need to start doing a bit more walking! As it was a lovely today we went over to California Country Park California Country Park - Wikipedia which was lovely but there were so many people! So we walked straight on. On the road over to the next stopping place we decided to count as many different bird species as we could, we saw all the usual suspects including a greater spotted woodpecker but Robin was the winner - he spotted the bullfinch - what a beautiful bird, we don't see many of them. Then on to our favourite church St James at Barkham - it always looks so lovely. On the way back we stopped at the Old Leathern Bootle for some non alcoholic beer and chips. 17 km not too bad but no backpacks - we decided that going forwards we always need to have backpacks and a flask of tea!!

Of course I also worked on my assignments - sigh!!
