Wedding Anniversary

Sunday 6th March 2022

It was a lovely day today so we decided to go for a walk along the river - Reading to Sonning and back. We made it to the Bull at Sonning - a pub that we have often wanted to go to but actually never found! Thats because its in the back streets of Sonning tucked out of the way - lovely place and we will definitely go back! This boat on the river has been there for years - they seem to gradually add pieces of hardboard and plastic to it - I always feel that it will blow over in the wind! Then past the Troll bridge with its lovely coloured ribbons - we love the fact that someone has named it the troll bridge!

It is our wedding anniversary today so we went for a cocktail at the Market House - best Margerita in Reading! then over to the Memory of Szechuan restaurant - we haven't been there since before covid but they recognised us! not sure what that says about us! Lovely meal! Next year is our silver wedding anniversary so we are planning on doing something special - but this was a really lovely day as well!
