Bridge to the future

We did our last Camino 3 years ago and I spent that time reflecting what I wanted going forwards. I (we) decided that our children were the most important part of our life and we couldn’t be present enough in there’s while we lived in Wokingham. By November we had sold the house and by February 2023 moved into our lovely house in Lewes. Tom, Laura, Libby and Freya live in hassocks and we look after the grandchildren on Mondays. Charlotte. Elliott and James live in Worthing. Chris and Ella live in Brighton. We see all of them much more often and it is a delight to be part of their lives. It means we aren’t so close to mum and Dorothy which does concern me, but we see them every few weeks so overall ok. I took up a part time job as an event manager working 2 days a week. A job I love which has helped me get to know people in a new town, I also volunteer at the Railwayland. This Camino is a time to reflect on all of that and think about priorities and what next. I thought the bridge picture was an apt metaphor!!
