Wild Woods

I was pretty nervous this morning, I have never done anything like this before - always good to be out of your comfort zone! It went really well. The kids were lovely and the other instructors so good. We found a dead hare, an old pheasants egg that really smelled when we broke it, some puffball mushrooms and a sheep's skull. The kids loved them all!

They also loved making bread and baking it over the fire, building dens, whittling, making their own fire and generally having a great time in the wood. Got home, cleaned everything, did some extra shopping, cooked the potatoes, checked the names for tomorrow - phew. Time to sit down and have a rest before we do it all again!
