I went to Mum and Dorothy's today. They are just about OK. We put the dogs in the car and took them for a walk which they appreciated. Mum is tired but apart from that is well and seems to be managing. Dorothy is very unwell, she just has two more days treatment to go and then hopefully it will be the slow road to feeling better. Robin got some new tools and eventually got all the shutters off. It is amazing how much space they took up. When I got back we loaded up the car and took them to the tip. Tonight we have no covers to the windows but I have ordered some temporary ones from Amazon which will turn up tomorrow. The painter is now coming on Sunday to give us a quote and the curtain maker will be round in a few weeks to measure up. We are as ready as we are going to be. Oh and I have an interview tomorrow for a job that I really want so I also prepared for that!
